The Cruise

The ship (The Santa Cruz). During the filming of the movie 'Master and Commander: Far Side of the World', several crew and cast members chose to stay aboard this very ship during the filming that occured in the Galapagos. Trust me, on the inside it was much nicer than it looks from the outside.

Going down into the lava flow cave

Inside the cave. Caves such as this one were formed when the outside of flowing lava cooled and hardened while the hot inner lava continued to flow, leaving the hollow outer shell as a cave.

Awesome photos! I"m sorry I haven't sent you an email yet.. or whatever... I fail at stuff like that. And end up spending most of my time here... *rolls eyes* So here's my profuse apoligies.
How are you? What's up? Are you still comming to Fall Out Boy? School okay? Life okay?
Well.... ummm, *waves* I hope I've sort of made up for the lack of communication. ^_^
Caitlin.

As far as I know I'm still going to Fall Out Boy... that is if I can manage to get my ticket from Tom? Must find a way to do that...
School's busy, life is stressful, same old, same old... How about you?
September 16 2005, 12:56:38 UTC 6 years ago
I talked to Tom about how to get tickets from him so we can actually get in and he said he'd call all of us sometime to arrange a place to meet, etc. etc. He might have my cell phone number, if not I'm going to give it to him other wise this is impossible. Anyway that's my basic plan... if you can think of a better one, or elaborate on it that would be awesome.
Yes.. life good. Stuff good. Sleepy though. -_-

The other day I was at the mall with a friend, and I was all like 'hey... I'm going to see the concert of a band that I've only heard 2 songs from. Maybe it would be a good idea to buy one of their CD's and check some more of their stuff out?'. So I did... and uh... emo eh?... I was a little surprised...
anyways, not so important I guess. Do you know who else is playing though? I'm suddenly wondering just what I've gotten myself into.
Oh yeah... just out of curiousity? Did you ever happen to get your clothes back from Ecuador? By mail I suppose?
September 17 2005, 02:41:11 UTC 6 years ago
Yes, Patricia was excellent about sending me my clothing, it arrived about two weeks ago and I'm rather glad to have my clothing back.

I usually listen to a broad variety of music as well, whatever I think sounds good really, but never before have I listened to emo. My friends will laugh at me for it later. That or disown me. Hmmm...
U2 eh? I'm not actually surprised, it was you who had the U2 ipod I believe? how much did it cost you though (for the tix, not the i-pod)? I know someone who bought some for nearly $400 which I think is a little rediculous! although I guess it would just depend on how loyal (or obsessed) you are.
September 18 2005, 18:07:07 UTC 6 years ago
Ummm, I went out with an emo kid for quite a few months... so I know good emo from bad emo atleast. And well, I don't listen to it, never really did, but it's hard to avoid when hanging out with someone who's into the scene fully. Oh, and yah I'll be disowned too so don't worry.
Hehe, yes indeed that was me. Umm, we scalped tickets so close to $400 yes, but somehow her father's company paid for it. I'm not sure how that worked. I'm not obsessed... but I'm definately loyal. I never really thought of myself as a HUGE fan, I just like the music. (most of it anyway) And as I said when you grow up with something...
September 18 2005, 23:11:35 UTC 6 years ago
Anyways, I must go analyse Robert Frost for english *sob*. See you in two weeks I guess? Oh yeah, has Tom called you yet?
September 19 2005, 02:17:27 UTC 6 years ago
We're studying Hamlet. Ugh. I don't mind Shakespeare but my teacher idolizes him as if he was a god. No wait, as if he were GOD. It's becomming increasingnly annoying. I want to study other things sometime. He wasn't the only author on earth worth studying. *le sigh* Another lovely week of school begins.

Flogging Molly... I've heard a little of their stuff... I prefer dropkick I think, but they are pretty good too. Don't know anything by Social Distortion though.
Dropkick Murphey's are on Nov. 18 (it's a Friday?), and tix are something like $20, which is friggin great! I was so upset I missed seeing them on the Warped Tour, I have no idea who else was playing, but I think I would have gone just to see them if I had been around.
Oooooh... wan't to hear something that makes me want to cry inside like the apparent emo-kid that I am? I found out last week that a (kinda) friend of mine won a bunch of tickets to the Green Day concert back in August, and on the day of he still had 2 or 3 he was looking to give away for free! He called me to see if I wanted one, but I wasn't home! *sob* That makes me sad.
Apparently he's also going to see Fall Out Boy. He was also at the Protest the Hero CD release show I went to a couple of weeks ago... and the Heatskore CD release I was supposed to be at last weekend that I didn't end up going to because something came up at the last minute. He also has an interesting habit of bumping into me around school... particularly when I'm about to leave and he wants a ride somewhere... *cough-stalker-cough*
September 20 2005, 00:57:18 UTC 6 years ago
Can I get them on ticketmaster by any chance? *bounces*
AWW! Man that sucks. I was going to try to see them in august... but it was the day I was comming home from somewhere or other and wouldn't have made it in time. -_-
Ha, silly stalkers. eeep. I've been described as slightly stalkerish sometimes. I'm trying not to be though, I just never know what to say to people.
September 20 2005, 01:21:17 UTC 6 years ago
He's not really, but I just find it funny how he pops up everywhere. Now if he happens to show up at the murphy's show though... well... a bit much of a coincidence?
P.S. ........................................
September 20 2005, 02:07:45 UTC 6 years ago
Still, creepy... atleast a little. >_>
The squrills put you up to it didn't they?
September 21 2005, 00:18:12 UTC 6 years ago
Huzzah for the 12 hour school day! 7:30am = music council, classes, then band until 7:30pm! I swear, I am a super uber band geek, and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
Ugh... need sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep..................
September 21 2005, 03:19:19 UTC 6 years ago
I had class from 8:30am-10am today. If I don't find something to do I'm going to go insane. I did finish my model plane though. ^_^ And my essay for that matter.
Birds are so scary. Actually terrified.
September 25 2005, 04:16:33 UTC 6 years ago
He wants to meet us between 6:30 and 6:45, cause doors are supposed to open then. Apparently it is Fall Out Boy annnnnnnnnd Motion City Soundtrack. Sound good to you? cause I'm excited as all hell!
But no kissey kissey with our dear emo boy, as he has apparently contracted mono. *tear* (like the emo kid he's turned me into... NOT)
Anywho... Dropkick Murphy's? Are you, aren't you? or undecided yet?
Pigeons... remember the ones in the Galapagos? with the creepy blue eyes and red rims? Those scared me, very much.
September 25 2005, 15:34:06 UTC 6 years ago
Haha, silly Tom. I had mono last year. SUCKED ASS. I hope it's not too bad and he can still come to the concert. I kept forcing myself to go to school and passing out/falling asleep on the floor/desk/health center bed. I tried to keep my average up by doing all my work and staying up late, which just wore me down and made me more sick. I hope he doesn't get carried away trying to do what I was. My average ended up dropping 10% in the first term. *sighs* Oh well.
I'm in, and I'm forcing a friend of mine to come too. I just need to actually buy tickets. It'll happen soon though so don't worry. ^_^
Eh. I HATE birds so much. They are so creepy. The ones there, the ones here. ALL OF THEM.
